THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES SERVICE BULLETIN 13-001-15, DATED APRIL 15, 2015, WHICH SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM YOUR FILES. THIS REVISION IS TO INCLUDE SOLD VEHICLES.
THIS SERVICE BULLETIN IS ALSO BEING RELEASED AS RAPID RESPONSE TRANSMITTAL (RRT) 15-033. ALL APPLICABLE SOLD AND UN-SOLD RRT VIN’s HAVE BEEN LOADED. TO VERIFY THAT THIS RRT SERVICE ACTION IS APPLICABLE TO THE VEHICLE, USE VIP OR PERFORM A VIN SEARCH IN TECHCONNECT. ALL REPAIRS ARE REIMBURSABLE WITHIN THE PROVISIONS OF WARRANTY.

Right Front Side Rail Inner Panel Stamping Deformity
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves inspecting the right front side rail inner panel for deformities created during the stamping process.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or after February 12, 2015 (MDH 0212XX) and on or before February 19, 2015 (MDH 0219XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The right front side rail inner panel may have visible deformities created during the stamping process.
Very few vehicles are expected to have the deformity.
DIAGNOSIS:
If a vehicle’s VIN is listed in VIP or your RRT VIN list, perform the repair.
REPAIR PROCEDURE:
- Remove the engine cover (1) for inspection access (Fig. 1).

- Push aside wire harness that hides the top of the right front side rail inner panel from view.
- Inspect right front side rail inner panel for any cracks or splits (1) as shown in (Fig. 2).

- Were any cracks or splits found in the right front side rail inner panel?
- YES>>> Contact your Area Manager or Business Center Customer Relations/Warranty Manager for buy back instructions and perform Step #5.
- NO>>> This bulletin does not apply. Perform Step #5.
- Reposition wire harnesses and install the engine cover.
POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
