Front Brake Squeak/Squeal Noise
OVERVIEW:
This bulletin involves replacing the front brake rotors, front brake pads, and related hardware.

NOTE: This bulletin applies to vehicles built on or before July 25, 2015 (MDH 0725XX).
SYMPTOM/CONDITION:
The customer may describe a front brake squeak/squeal high frequency noise in the 6-7 kHz range while stopping, noise may be intermittent (not every stop).
DIAGNOSIS:
If the customer describes the symptom, perform the Repair Procedure.

REPAIR PROCEDURE:
NOTE: The brake caliper adapter bolts are one time use only, they must be discarded and replaced with NEW.
- Replace the front brake Rotors with the NEW front brake rotors. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT> TechCONNECT under: Service Info> 05 – Brakes, Base> Hydraulic/Mechanical> Rotor, Brake> Removal/Installation> Front Brake Rotor.
- Replace the front brake pads and hardware with the NEW front brake pad kit. Refer to the detailed service procedures available in DealerCONNECT> TechCONNECT under: Service Info> 05 – Brakes, Base> Hydraulic/Mechanical> Pads, Brake, Front> Removal/Installation.
POLICY:
Reimbursable within the provisions of the warranty.
